Cree, Inc. extends its industry-leading portfolio of lighting-class LEDs with the adding of the XLamp® XQ-A LED to the XQ LED family. The ceramic-based, compact XQ-A allows lighting producers to cost-effectively and quickly extend their product portfolios. With optical symmetry and a wide range of color choices, the XQ-A LED is the smallest LED building block available for designs that employ color and white LEDs.
The XQ-A LED conveys lighting-class quality, reliability and durable performance. The new LEDs leverage the established XQ platform to assure optical symmetry, consistency across all colors and tiny 1.6mm footprint to enhance color mix and facilitate the industrial process for illumination producers.
The XQ-A LED family gives designers the opportunity to suggest solutions of high quality that don’t compromise affordability or lifetime. The XQ-A is characterized at 85°C and emits up to 89 lm. It is represented in CRI options of 90, 80 and 70 and white color temperatures running from 2700K to 6200K. The LED is also presented in red-orange, red, green, PC amber, royal blue and blue.
